Vicky was pleased to be asked recently to undertake the restoration and repainting of the front of the 98 key organ famously known as Whites Gavioli

A recent change of ownership has resulted in the commissioning of new transport and a complete overhaul of the instrument. A massive undertaking as everything to do with this organ is on a grand scale.

All the old paint was carefully removed by hand and redecoration undertaken using the same style as the last full restoration in the 1950's. This entails using coloured lacquers over a metallic base.
